Day 1️⃣: Departure Sofia - Istanbul
Meeting at Sofia Airport, Terminal 2 for a flight to Istanbul at 10:00 with Turkish Airlines. Landing in Istanbul at 12:30. Departure for Colombo at 19:30.

Day 2️⃣: Colombo - Kandy

Landing in Colombo at Bandaranaike International Airport at 05:55 local time. Welcome to Sri Lanka – the island of elephants, spices and hospitality. Meeting by a representative of the partner company and transfer to Kandy. Kandy is also known as the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, or as the City of Kings. Far from the beautiful sandy beaches along the coast, it offers a different kind of experience, namely a touch of the traditional and historical part of the country. Protected by its geographical location and less accessible terrain, the powerful ancient Kingdom of Kandy managed to hold off the advance of both the Portuguese and the Dutch colonizers in the 15th and 16th centuries, becoming the last standing bastion of independent Ceylon. In this way, the city managed to preserve the unique customs, culture and arts that had largely been subdued in other parts of the country – until 1815, when it too finally fell under British rule. Day 3️⃣: Kandy - Dambulla 

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Dambulla. Before that, a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth of Buddha. Kandy is a sacred place for Buddhists, and the temple is one of the most important sites for them. It houses a relic – the sacred tooth of Buddha. It is also called "Sri Dalada Maligawa" and has both religious and historical significance. Thousands of local and foreign pilgrims and tourists visit daily to pay their respects. In 1988, UNESCO recognized the temple as a World Heritage Site due to its cultural and religious value. The architecture follows a unique Kandyan style, combining elements from the shrines that previously housed the relic of the Sacred Tooth in other kingdoms. The temple is decorated with intricate carvings using gold, silver, bronze and ivory. Dambulla, also known as Dam̆ bulla in Sinhala and Tampuḷḷai in Tamil, is a town located in the northern part of Matale District, within the Central Province of Sri Lanka. The cave temples in Dambulla date back to the 1st century BC and are decorated with statues and paintings. These caves were the refuge of King Valagamba during his 14-year exile from the kingdom of Anuradhapura. Buddhist monks meditating in them protected the exiled king from his enemies. In gratitude, King Valagamba commissioned the construction of a magnificent rock temple at Dambulla after his return to the throne. Visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple. The cave temple complex in Dambulla is the best preserved and largest in Sri Lanka. It is located on top of a rock that rises 160 meters above the surrounding plains. More than 80 documented caves surround the area, five of which are the main ones. The main attractions are located in five caves, each containing intricate statues and ancient paintings related to Gautama Buddha and his life. Transfer to the Pinthaliya Resort 4* hotel or similar. Day 4️⃣: Dambulla - Sigiriya - Pasikuda 

Breakfast and hotel check-out. You depart for Sigiriya. Near the town of Dambulla lies Sigiriya, or literally translated, "Lion Rock". Rising majestically to a height of 180 m in the northern part of Matale District, the rock attracts tourists from all over the world at any time. According to the ancient chronicle of Sri Lanka, this area was once a vast forest. Over time, storms and landslides turned it into a hill, which King Kashyapa (477–495 AD) chose as his new capital. On top of this rock he built his palace, decorated its walls with colorful frescoes and created a gateway in the form of a huge lion. Hence the name Sihagiri (Sigiriya), which means Lion Rock. After the king's death, the capital and the royal palace were abandoned. Sigiriya later served as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. As part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, it stands as one of the finest examples of ancient urban planning that has stood the test of time to this day. You depart for Pasikuda and will check in at the Amaya Beach 5* hotel or similar. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 5️⃣: Pasikuda 

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for beach and relaxation. You will have the opportunity to join the optional excursions on site. Pasikuda is one of the most popular resorts in Sri Lanka. Known for its sparkling blue waters, it has one of the longest stretches of shallow reef coastline in the world. It is an attractive destination for both local and foreign tourists. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 6️⃣: Pasikuda 

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for beach and relaxation. Opportunity to join the optional excursions on site.

Day 7️⃣: Pasikuda - Ella 

Breakfast and hotel check-out. Along the way you will have the opportunity to enjoy the incredible view of the wonderful waterfalls, and also see the so-called Nine Arch Bridge. The bridge is also known as the "Bridge in the Sky". About 91 m long, about 7.6 meters wide and between 24 and 30 meters high, it offers a panoramic view and is a remarkable example of colonial-era railway construction. Next is a visit and tour of the town of Nuwara Eliya. Founded in 1846 by the explorer Samuel Baker, Nuwara Eliya is also known as "Little England". Nestled in the hilly countryside of Sri Lanka, the town's name translates as "city on the plain" or "city of light". Nuwara Eliya is of enormous importance to Sri Lanka's tea industry. It is considered the most important tea-growing location in the country. The picturesque landscape, cool climate and high altitude create the ideal conditions for its cultivation. Day 8️⃣: Ella - Colombo

Breakfast and hotel check-out. Departure for Colombo. Colombo is the administrative capital and the largest city by population in Sri Lanka. It serves as the island's financial center and is a popular tourist destination. Here you will experience the unique blend of modern life and colonial heritage, featuring a combination of contemporary buildings and historical monuments. Upon arrival you will have a city tour. Then – check-in at a 4* hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 9️⃣: Colombo - Istanbul

Breakfast and hotel check-out. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Istanbul at 21:55.

Day 1️⃣0️⃣: Istanbul - Sofia
Arrival in Istanbul at 04:35. Flight to Sofia at 08:50 and landing in Sofia at 09:10.
