Beautiful beach, clear, calm waters.The views are fantastic, the restaurant staff were great especially Selah.Overall experience was average as the food options were inadequate, they don't cater for allergens. None of the foods had allergen signs and whilst there are signs indicating that you should inform staff of allergies, the exchange between the chefs and staff were very challenging and gave me little confidence. I ended up eating gluten containing foods after being told it was gluten free. For a 5 star hotel I expected more. The food options were not great either, the beef was very tough each time and most food stayed out and not very hot.The room was adequate however we had a leaky AC which lasted for days and on our last night the water was pouring down very heavily and soaked up the carpet. This was all reported in the first instance and we can only assume that someone came to look into it as they left their key card in the room when we got back.I think if you have no allergies and don't care about quality, then I would recommend it but it's definitely not a 5 star hotel by any means but it has potential.It's also noteworthy to mention the lay out is not conducive for anyone with physical disabilities as there are loads of stairs to climb even with lifts dotted around the place. But that's the case for all the hotels in that area.We would go back to Bodrum and stay at the Bodrum Prive next to Salmakis but we certainly won't go back to Salmakis.
The best resort I ever stayed at the staff were amazing friendly and excellent service. The hairdresser & beautician did such a good job. The food was excellent & staff in the buffet so attentive and helpful. I will stay here again. Michelle King
The food at the hotel was very good and there were many types of cold and hot meals. The alcohols were really nice. There were no daytime activities at the hotel except for water polo and a silly dart game in the pool. The entertainment team was very bad and fraudulent, they told us to go to the club in the evening for an extra 500 TL for the whole day. When we gave up on going, they barely refunded our money. While other event teams give us a price of 200 TL or 300 TL, the hotel's entertainment team tells us a price of 500 TL, which is literally fraud. When we forwarded these complaints to Ms. Elif, she resolved the issue and gifted us an a la carte restaurant. I would like to thank him very much for his friendly and solution-oriented approach. In general, the hotel is a good hotel to stay in. If it happens again, I will go again.
Very nice location of the hotel. A wide variety of food, helpful and very friendly staff, especially Samet Can and Ramazan. All 5 stars for them. The rooms are tidy and spacious. I would like to come back here again.
Grand scale traditional hotel. Feels like a village with many corridors and alleys to get accustomed to. Cleaning and maintenance are constant keeping everything in first class condition.Staff are super friendly and remember what you like to eat and drink.Key tip is to use the water taxi to town get back and forward to Bodrum. The views are spectacular and only 100tl each way per person.
We spent a lovely week in this beautiful hotel at the beginning of April. The views and scenery are breathtaking and the hotel, grounds and beach are clean and beautiful. Whilst reception was a little stand-offish and didnt give much information about how to get around the hotel or what was on offer, the rest of the staff really made our holiday. The waiters were so friendly and attentive, special mention to Sammy (Samet?) who looked after our every need, also to Celal (Cecil?) at the snack bar. Ismail the chef, was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble, he really cares about the quality of the food served, and it really is some of the best I have had in an all-inclusive hotel.A special mention must go to the best bar manager I've met, Bilal. So friendly and funny, he really made our time there special. Also his lovely side-kick Taner, both such lovely people.Staff really do make a difference to a guests stay, and the Salmakis has some of the best.
Couldn’t fault this place at all! Staff were friendly, food was top notch, rooms were clean, resort itself was very clean. Very beautiful place to stay. Would definitely come back there.They made my birthday trip a very memorable one.Special thanks to Samet who was amazing throughout our stay!

This resort fully deserves the 5 stars in all areas of service. Excellent food and bar service and the staff were very accommodating, always on hand to help you if you need. Near some good bars and pubs where the nightlife is lively even on weekdays. Good to visit with family and sometimes has kids entertainment once dinner is finished. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view from the balcony. Thank you for an excellent stay 🙂
I really can’t give a higher star rating the room was excellent, was very clean and great shower.The staff were very friendly and were helpful at all times even with making sure we always had a drink :)Great food friendly service and such a nice pool and beach and great spa facilities.Great for families.
Let me start by saying i do not get paid for these reviews, simply just trying to give people more information about places. My stay at Salmakis Resort and Spa was satisfactory. The facilities were generally good, and the spa services were relaxing. However, some areas of the resort seemed a bit dated and could benefit from refurbishment. The staff were friendly, but the service, particularly at the restaurant, could be more attentive. With a bit of improvement in these aspects, the resort has the potential to offer a more enjoyable experience.
Such a spacious well-equipped resort hotel. Beautiful sea view with white balcony, nice gardens with flowers, attentive friendly staffs... No complaints at all. Spent very relaxing holidays here.
The hotel is amazing. The staff is kind and polite to everyone. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach and the pool are perfect. The food is delicious and you can choose from many different dishes. The view from the hotel is breathtaking.If you stay in this hotel you will have an incredible experience. ❤️
