Foods are excellence. And tkanki you Beyzanur from guest relations.
We have just returned from a week at blue dreams resort and spa. We were upgraded to one of the deluxe rooms and I am very grateful for this as they were peaceful in the evening and had great views looking over the pool and sea.Food and drinksFood was offered in various locations and in the main buffet at set times. The food itself was good as expected for an all inclusive buffet. The drinks were OK, you have to ask for premium spirits but they are on offer for free. There are fridges around the resort with cans and water which is a real plus. The cocktails are quite sugary and poor. What let's the food and drink down the most is the loud music played in ALL resturants, at some points in the evening you can here up 5 different songs all with heavy base while trying to eat your dinner. I would not describe it as relaxing, which is a real shame as the setting is very nice. The chairs in the main resturant are small so if your over a size 16 these are very painful. Al a Cart was very nice, food was great, music loud at times but it did break so it was bareable.Overall, food and drink was good but the noise was too much.Pool and seaSimilar theme to the food and drink, pools are decent along with the piers but all play loud music except for the main pool outside of the buffet which is very busy. No relaxing zone or quiet area unless you want to spend 185 euro for a cabana, real let of the hotel. You also have to compete for sunbeds to land one of the quite areas on the pier (furthest away from the speakers). All sunbeds at the party pool are gone early (by 7.30am) if that's your thing. For a 5 star hotel I would expect more quiet areas and less sunbed reserving.SpaSpa facilities are good, we had several massages and they were if a high standard. I would recommend these, but do not pay the initial price.HotelHotel is of a good standard, offers lots of different areas to sit and offers lots of different entertainment. It does have lots of stairs but there are lifts to get around, I wouldn't recommend for any with mobility problems.Tips, the only places that are quieter are at the end of the boardwalk you will find many people seeking some relaxation (with the exception of people playing their own music on their phones! How annoying), the lobby bar is also peaceful and has great views, the coffee shop is also peaceful. With out these areas the holiday would have been a headache from start to finish.Tips to the hotel, create a relaxing zone with shade in the day. Turn the music down in the restaurants so it doesn't reach over 80 decibels as it did often (equivalent of a jack hammer), limit the smoking areas and offer some different chairs in the main resturant. I'm confident that if you did these things you would have a better returning rate.If your into loud music with good food and drinks, then this hotel is for you, if you want a relaxing break then I would look elsewhere unless changes are made.
We arrived 3 hours before our check-in date and a woman and a short old man forced us to pay an extra 200 euros for the three hours and they said that if we don't pay we have to leave the hotel. we were given a room that felt like an unused room that contained bugs and smelled bad. we paid 200 euros for a room which was a bad room for only 3 hours which did not include either breakfast or lunch or dinner because the day was already over. while we had paid for a week before.we asked another staff to change the room and the next day we got another room. Another negative thing was that they don't care about guests who are allergic to cigarette (Cig) smoke. they have given the freedom to guests to smoke everywhere. cig ashtrays are everywhere and with this the hotel confirms that everyone is allowed to smoke. guests also smoked at the dining table in a common area while we were eating. it was a piano that children and adults could use indefinitely without worrying about times. children and ignorant people played in the middle of the night between 00:00 to 4:00-5:00 in the morning and disturbed other guests and hotel staff did not care at all. The gym was right by the drain and smelled of poo when you passed the gym, you would vomit. in terms of positive description, it was room cleaning that was done every day. food service was good and the staff for food and drink service were pleasant and respectful.
Fantastic hotel, great for families or couples.Just back from a week at Blue Dreams and can honestly say it's one of the better hotels I've stayed at in Turkey.Food was plentiful with good variety to keep you interested all week. Snack bars open when the restaurant is closed.Staff were excellent and attentive. We had a few issues on day one with our rooms, however a quick trip to reception and all was sorted within 20 minutes. My only complaint is at night the Sunset bar is very busy and you can be stood queuing for drinks for 10+minutes as they only had two staff serving and most guests are ordering cocktails that take time to make. Id suggest either having the most popular cocktails ready made before it gets busy, putting more staff on or offer table service so there are less people queuing. The rooms are good though some details are poorly finished such as shower tap fittings not flush to the wall. There was a power outage in our room one night and the water was cut off also which was inconvenient. There's people wandering around the hotel trying to sell you spa treatments, boat trips and photography services, which is fine if they go away when you say no, but the photography man harassed me daily until I gave him a firm "f off", which I didn't like doing, but he was very annoying approaching me daily.
Currently here for a 10 day holiday. Beautiful views, lovely people, great service. Some areas are a bit tired but nothing major. A special mention for duty manager Suat Erden, a lovely man who helped check us in at 1am and personally showed us to the restaurant so we could grab something to eat. We have seen him every day walking around checking that everyone is OK. This man seems to be here 24/7 and always smiling. The tea room is excellent and again offers fantastic views as well as a decent coffee and snacks. The hotel is very clean and we are having a brilliant holiday. Would highly recommend.
