Great family hotel. We had a double room with terrace and pool view so our own outside sitting area, beds, sun brolly, outside shower for during day. Brilliant!Entertainment team with Taha and his pals work very hard and are just a great bunch of young people. They are always doing something from darts to water polo or aqua aerobics and the night entertainment. They always seem to be here.The foam pool party was a great laugh...😅Food excellent, easy to get access to a la carte restaurants. All staff amazing but shout out to staff in Q Bar who did a great job during the football Euros.5 mins, 10 euro taxi from central 'Side' which is beautiful.Very clean, great facilities, would definately return in the future.Great holiday!!!!

Room beautiful, never stayed in hotels rooms so well equipped and lovely furnished. Coffee machines, mini fridge, great shower, large balcony, great views. TV has English channels with films for when you want to chill.Bus to beach runs regular but it’s a 5-minute walk and beach area, beach beds and bar/ restaurant/showers lovely set up.Restaurant – food amazing, presented well and fresh with a fantastic variety. Chefs always cooking at least 2 or three fresh options at meal times.BUT restaurant felt like Butlins. In 10 days we were served a drink once in the evening. My partner a beer. One night I brought a mojito down from the sunset bar (I literally drink nothing) and when I got my food and sat down the waiter had taken it away. When I asked, he said ‘oh the mojito’ then tried to get it from the area with all the dirty glasses and bring it back. Didn’t offer to get me another (upstairs bar) or in fact offer another drink.By day 3 I was getting up and getting myself our own drinks, going behind the bar. Taking a bottle of water - and getting my husband a beer rather than waiting and waiting and it never coming.Felt they wanted you in and out. Appreciate it’s a busy hotel but its my holiday and we spent two and a half grand so want our meals to be relaxing – and they honestly weren’t. Butlins restaurant.Tried to book the nice restaurant. It is the equivalent of the brits and germans with the sunbeds. People queuing at ten to 9am to book their table.Nope all done. Not for me. My last attempt at Turkey. For 2.5k go Italy**** Try Karma and definitely try THYMA restaurants, cant recommend highly enough for sunsets and food not to be missed *****

Just arrived home from hotel Goia in Turkey. What a lovely place. Hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful. The food was absolutely delicious so put on a few pounds. Had an issue were our room bar hadn't been re load. When we mentioned it to repection it was done within minutes. We had such a fantastic time we are now thinking of booking again for next year.

Overall an great hotel. Rooms were amazing and so was the view. The staff was absolutely amazing and friendly. Food was really good and they had a wide selection. Also the location was great, the beach was a 5 minute walk away but there was also a bus going there, there was also a small town within a 15 minute walk. The best hotel in this area.

Amazing 10 night stay! The best hotel we’ve stayed at for families. They have a brilliant kids club room, particularly for toddlers with lots of little activities. Yasemin was fantastic with the kids. The mascots were out regularly through the day and there was a 5pm mini disco which was a real hit at a time kids can get restless. The rooms are a great size and the separate seating area is lovely. TVs had an English speaking Disney kids channel and loads of football. Mini bar had efes and soft drinks every day. Food and drink options were 10/10. The a la carte restaurants were great, Fely in particular was probably the best all inclusive a la carte we’ve had (big thanks to Furkan for making it a great experience). It is hard to get in to the a la cartes, you have to be queuing early ready for 9am at guest services to book in. The buffet was brilliant every meal too. Only minor criticism of the buffet restaurant was it was sometimes tricky to get served a drink as staff we very busy. Hotel facilities, like water slides, indoor areas and beach bar were great. Shuttle to the beach was nice bus and very punctual. Indoor entertainment was great so you didn’t need to worry about getting bitten, but it did get hot in there. Side is a simple walk away, it is along a fairly busy road. The hotel had strollers you can borrow which was great.

Amazing service at this 5 star hotel and spa. Very extravagant entrance and high standard of rooms. Very clean and tidy too.Only ever so slightly let down as the hotel is a little expensive for simple things like a coffee or a coke.Furthermore, there’s nothing else in the surrounding area of the hotel location in Side. Otherwise everything was great. Room was nice and spacious and was very clean indeed.Staff are well presented and attentive. The reception staff Matilda and Naci were great at helping me with my daily questions and ideas. I’d highly recommend this hotel to stay. Amazing experience.

*Review edited at the end with extra useful suggestion for hotel management...Amazing refurbished hotel for 2024 by the Barut brand. Excellent facilities all round and free shuttle to the beach as well (or walk for approximately 10-ish mins). The staff are amazing and always happy to help, especially housekeeping staff member Nesihan (extremely helpful) who had a smile and greeted us every morning. Highly recommend this hotel but for some, the distance to Side Centre or Old City might be a bit difficult (especially if you need assistance due to the distance).*Plus, it would be nice if the free shuttle for hotel guests had 1 stop near the main roundabout (with the Turkish flag) as an extra service instead of just the beach. That would be nice!

Beautiful hotel,if you are staying bnb a small beer will cost you £7.50!!!there is a shop on site but I would recommend going to a supermarket..Taxis are reasonable .There is a shuttle bus to the beach every 15 minutesBreakfast is 👍

We’ve had a fantastic time so far. The restaurant staff last night were amazing in the main Turkish A la carte, with children it’s sometimes hard but the food is as great and the service was excellent they helped keep the kids calm with timing the meals etc. the restaurant manager last night was great.The reception staff are excellent in particular Naci he’s super helpful if you have any questions or need some local advice just ask for Naci, When we walk past and see Naci we are so pleased to see him he always says hello to us and the kids. It’s also great to know if he’s working if we need to speak with reception about anything. He’s been great with the kids and helpful for our whole stay so far.The staff really make this holiday.

It was a last minute holiday to escape the cold weather at home. Room are very luxurious with good pool view, beautiful lounge. Food delicious and service very courteous. Lots of varieties to choose in multiple restaurants. Would certainly recommend this hotel to any age group, superb value for money. We will most defiantly be coming back.

Currently staying here we booked a last minute holiday to escape the bad weather at home. We could not fault this hotel staff or anything about the holiday. Went for a spa which was extremely good value for money and excellent I felt amazing when I left. Would certainly recommend this hotel to any age superb value for money. I am currently on holiday at the Barut Sunwing Side Beach hotel.I cannot fault it at all.From the fantastic cleaners ,the waitering staff,the bar staff,the reception staff everyone is so polite and helpful.The whole place is spotlessly clean they don’t stop all day long.There is a wide choice of food ,we are all inclusive,something different at every sitting.The rooms are a good size we are in a suite,which has a kitchenette and lounge area ,pull out sofa for 2 more people if required.Lovely long balcony over looking the pool area ,which we asked for,although there is quite a busy road off to the side but doesn’t bother us.A shuttle bus to the beach runs every 15-20 minutes and takes about three minutes to get there,you could walk it but it’s an unmade road and a bit overgrown.The beach is lovely for hotel users sun beds and the cafe has drinks and lunch services which is included in the all inclusive package.There’s water sports to enjoy as well.The hotel has two buildings which you cross over ,I think we are in the quieter side and on the top (4th floor) ,which I asked for.Room 2428 if you want recommendation.If I think of anything else to add whilst I am here il post it but at the moment,4days,everything is brilliant so if you are thinking of booking go ahead you won’t be disappointed.

We enjoyed a fantastic 10 day stay, in September. With blue skies and temperatures in the mid 30c’s.They upgraded us to a suite for our Honeymoon. Buffet food (this is what we saw that made us decide to stay here) was fresh, tasty and delicious - good variety. Special mention to the breakfast omelette making ladies. Our favourite!!!Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Maids fantastic. Staff amazing, kind and helpful. Your get a free bus, 5 min to and from the beach - which is a good private section of sandy beach with a clear beautiful sea. Plenty of free sun beds and shade. We loved the chicken doner kebab lunches there, washed down with a cold beerPools were big and we loved spending our afternoons there. Bar a few ogling older men….We would love to return here again. Loved the cats/ giving them scraps. Being cat lovers. Seeing then by the security station each day was lovely. - (they are also fed cat crunchies by the staff)We only had booked the bed and breakfast buffet - in hindsight wish had gone half board and tried all of the theme nights!! As chalked up more expenses on meals. But well worth it. Taxis into Side (note in Side town- they all ask for Euro not Turkish Lira - I suspect due to conversion rates) were 10€ so it wasn’t cheap. There are buses though. It turned out more convenient for us - after an excursion day out, to eat at the hotel in the evenings. As this was a relaxing stay of sea, sun, food.It’s well set up with shops, everything is on a charge card - no cash! So make sure you don’t go mad spending. Good facilities for kids, games room etc.We didn’t check out the evening entertainment - so can’t comment.We did find some of the other guests didn’t understand what ‘good manners’ are and what queuing means - possibly due to their culture. Note it’s a family hotel - so a few screaming little ones from time to time. We did meet some lovely folk to chat to there. Massive thank you. We will definitely consider visiting again in the future.Highly recommended. Note it’s having a revamp and name change for 2024 season.

Fantastic place to relax . It's not a party hotel, quiet & sedate. Ideal for children. Lovely poolside , spotless as cleaning is ongoing. Rooms have a spacious feel about them Beds are comfortable and clean fresh sheets evey other day . Hotel provides laundry services. Food is very good, always something for everyone Went to Mehmets twice during our stay staff were very attentive food was excellent.. Side is a taxi ride away , though the walk is only about 15 minutes. . Enjoy your time here , highly recommend this hotel

Lovely ,clean, helpful staff I would recommend this hotel for family as there lots of entertainment for kids and adults. It has all the facilities spa massage a mini market which sell everything and mean everything and it’s open from Morining till 11pm. The games area is amazing. The rooms were all spacious as I had a suite as there was 3 of us. Everyday the cleaners come clean your room and leaves bottle water every day and clean towels and beach towels. The staff was amazing as they helped us with day trips and we went with Jet2 they are very helpful . I was bit disappointed that we couldn’t use all of the restaurants as we was half board we was only allowed in the main buffet area which I didn’t know when we booked as we got told we could go use other restaurants and had to book and pay . I wasn’t much keen on food as it was buffet and different theme night as there was Indian Asian international etc. the food was hit and miss for breakfast and dinner as there was a lot flies around everywhere and all over some food which I think food should be covered some food wasn’t explained if it was vegan or vegetarian or if it had certain meat and dish as it was very small images on the card plus some images I would t recognise I had to ask a lot time but there should be cleared what contain in the food , it did put me off trying different food due to flies landing on fruit, cheese , hot food etc just gotta be careful . Overall hotel and pool was lovely and everything is all walking distance. Just disappointing was the food area plus they have a pet cat that comes into hotel and into restaurants which shouldn’t be allowed due to hygiene.

This hotel is amazing, lovely food, lovely rooms. Staff are great. Can't really fault it, son wasn't a fan of their mini disco as they're catering more for the Scandinavian clientele but that's not a bad thing. I'm actually at a loss why it's not a 5 star. Well done Barut sunwing, lovely hotel!

Wonderful hotel,rooms spacious and clean,everything you could need already provided. Reception staff really helpful. Free shuttle bus to the beach is a great service. A little out of Antique Side but short taxi ride with taxis always outside the hotel. Dolmus does also go past the hotel.
